Eir and Apple TV

Hi, I can't find a thread on this so I thought I'd ask: I am considering switching to Eir, with their broadband & TV package with the Apple TV. My question is how does Eir integrate into the actual Apple TV app? For example, do you get the option to watch anything in the Apple TV app (for example, the sports tab). I know in some regions, the TV provider integrates into the Apple TV and for me it would be a much better experience.

    Moved to cable

The answer is, it doesn’t. It’s its own app. I’m not sure of what the benefit would be of it being accessible through the TV app anyway other than search. I love my Apple products, but the TV app just confuses me the way Apple TV+ stuff appears alongside what used to be called iTunes Store stuff. I’d rather it was clear what I had to pay extra for and what I’d already paid for*

*or not as the case may be, being in month 14 of my 12 month free trial.
