Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Skoda Superb iV CD player

    Hi,

Does anyone know if I can retrofit the CD/DVD player in the Superb iV?
There's a blank plate in the glove box, which is apparently for the CD/DVD multi-changer. I don't want to go messing about behind there until I can find out what needs to be done first.

Is it as simple as opening the blank plate, and connecting some wires, or is it something an official garage would need to do, coz you'd need to connect it to the In-Car Entertainment?

I'd imagine its the same as the Superb Mk3 as they look similar. Has anyone had any experience with this? Either installing an officla CD player or a 3rd party one.

    Cheers.

Have you considered just putting all your CDs onto an SD card, memory stick or onto your phone?

I’d imagine it will be quite a job to retrofit cd

Ye, I'll most likey go that route tbh.
There's no SD slot but there's a couple of USB ports (USB-C under radio and USB-A in arm rest) so that might be the best idea.
