These are now quite old, but very effective in a range of environments. I originally bought them for flying (remember that) and they helped me sleep on many a trip. They were more effective at blocking noise than the Bose over the ear headphones. I still use them when walking and can listen to music and make calls, even on a windy Kerry beach.
At about a third of the original selling price they are a bargain. They are €210 on the Bose Ireland site.
