Fe1s how much study is required without law degree?

I am considering a career in law. I have a Masters in Commerce but no law degree. I achieved high grades in all my previous college exams. I am working full time in a non-law related position.

I see there are a number of preparation courses for the FE1s available. I am just wondering what is a realistic goal in terms of preparation time for sitting these exams. I understand everyone is different of course, so I am looking for advice from anyone who has sat the exams without a degree in law and how long they took to prepare for the exams e.g. would studying for the exams in the evenings/weekends and attending one of these preparation courses with the aim of sitting half of the exams in autumn 2021 be a realistic target and the remaining the following spring?

    Thanks in advance.

I completed all 8 in 2020 with no law degree. Everybody is different of course. I found them OK, some of them I probably studied about 20 hours in total but there were three that I only opened 2 days before the exam. So if you are good at cramming and have capacity to remember lots of case names, they are eminently crammable.

They are pure “on the day” memory tests, I would fail them all gloriously if I had to sit them all again today.
