    Hi,

I am getting a new Grant Utility boiler fitted (not a combi) and it does not come with a timer as standard.

I have also signed up for the Bord Gais Hive welcome home bundle which includes a Hive hub.

Can anyone advise me on what I would need on the boiler side to give me a timer functionality?

    Ideally looking for smart controller.

I am looking at the Hive active heating thermostat but its not clear if this needs any additional modules on the boiler side.

    Any pointers really appreciated!

Depends on how many zones you have

For each thermostat you will also need a receiver

Thanks DGOBS, found some documentation to indicate that the Bord Gais Hive welcome home bundle does include a receiver so I should be covered.

    Appreciate the response.

The welcome home bundle has a hub, lights and some sensors, no thermostat or receiver

Thanks, when I went to order it I noticed that, have added the thermostat and receiver to the order so hopefully will have them soon.
