Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Beware UK-based support! Huawei Horror Story

Hi all, I'm currently in a battle with Huawei about getting a laptop fixed. Bought before Christmas, given to my kid for his schoolwork, it's been crashing intermittently. Phone support said they'd get it collected for repair, then silence. Rang them a week later, turns out since Brexit it costs them too much to bring the laptops to the UK so... they're doing nothing! Another week later, laptop is getting worse and there's still no movement out of them. So I tweeted their support and they said... Wait!

This is Huawei laptops, I can only assume that other manufacturers are in the same boat - anyone who has their repair shop in the UK basically.

Credit card chargeback is the solution. Send the email correspondence to your bank and they should refund you in a few weeks.
