    Guys

I'm working on a project that requires Alexa Skill and Google Action development. Basically the company I work for plans on offering services via these platforms. the project will require Skill/Action creation, integration to a CMS to host some content and also an internal Salesforce system. some of it will be as simple as returning content based on the utterances used, some of it would be launching partner applications based on the utterance and then requesting access to some services that would require authentication and those sort of interactions would then need to be logged in a backend DB somehow

the problem is I'm trying to find companies in Ireland that might offerAlexa/Google Assistant development as part of their service offerings. if it were any other type of software development I wouldn't have a huge problem, but these smart speaker skillset seems to be very niche. Anyone know of any vendors that provide these services?

I don't mean to be cheeky but have you tried contacting Amazon and Google?

a lot of this stuff is built off existing web technologies that are out there. Find some good node.js / javascript developers and you'll be on the right road.

Barely anyone will advertise these specifically as they're built on existing technologies, use cases are fairly limited and haven't taken off like the likes of smart phones etc.

that's what I'm finding, even the Alexa CSP site seems to list vendors that are more for smart device design and development rather than service access via off the shelf devices.

so I'll just cast the net wider and look at development companies in general rather than ones with this specialist skillset.
