Infractions and mod insults re Beasty

So I posted a video on a thread about anti Racist NGO's ignoring all Irish attacks. I posted a video of African youths kicking a Irish teenager in the head in Limerick and shouting at him about slavery (racial motive). I said in the thread this was a racist attack as was an attack on a white youth with two black youths kicking him in the head as they shouted at him about slavery. Cut and dry to me however Beasty has asked me for 'proof' it was race related. The video suffices for me but obviously not to him/her. Interesting though I am alone in being asked for evidence when all thread people are accusing others of racism and not being asked. Only those pointing out racism on the Irish are asked for court documented! proof as even then plain as day videos of the attack don't seem to mean anything.
Beasty is being incredibly biased here.

I also resent him/her saying I am 'racist' and looking for 'white supremacist support' whatever the hell that means.

Do THEY have any proof of this? Me drumming up white supremacy support LOL?

This is incredibly unprofessional and immature. Can't these people who work on this at least be civil? They don't know me from a tin of paint and anyway my missus isn't even the same race as me!

Surely to God Mods can be civil and not revert to PM abuse and defamation?

Yes nothing but bile and insults as a response.

What you need to see?

As a matter of interest is it protocal to have certain mods on to insult and bully those via PM they may disagree with? Again surely they could be somewhat civil? At the very very least? They may disagree but do they feel it necessary to revert to absue and insults?

Yes. As in screenshots? However he/she are very defamatory and abusive and insulting in them. Must I share it to the World if it is upsetting?

My issue is why can't certain MODs actually be civil?
Do they really need to revert to derogatory comments and insults?

And interestingly they ask me for proof of my opinions but they can insult as much as they like with theirs?

Again at the very least Mod's should be civil not insulting!

I've looked into this for you. 

The problem highlighted by the moderator is that you've made a series of grand claims alleging racism in that post with the only evidence being a video of some man speaking to a camera on Youtube.
I've read through the private messages between yourself and the moderator in question. You were asked to provide evidence of your claims but you respond by stating that it was obvious which isn't proof, merely your own opinion. You adopted a hostile tone towards the moderator and insulted them on more than one occasion.

I don't see any attempt from you to understand the reason for the infraction so on that basis as well as your failure to substantiate your claim as requested by the moderator. To be honest, since the beginning of December you have amassed 4 warnings, an infraction and 3 one week bans. In this scenario, I believe that the moderator was lenient in opting for an infraction. I would advise you to reconsider your posting style over the coming few days or you may be permanently banned in the long run if this keeps up.

Please let me know if you would like to appeal to an admin.

The video I posted showed African youths kicking an Irish youth repeatedly in the head screaming at him about slavery. The man gave a background to the scenario but it certainly wasn't just a man talking. In fact the whole video he was talking about African youths kicking a Irish teenager in the head repeatedly and he had the actual footage in the video! The video had the actual incident!

That in my opinion is cut and dry racism. When I said its obvious my point was black youths kicking an Irish youth repeatedly in the head shouting about slavery is racism as I asked them if the scenario was Irish youths kicking African youth repeatedly in the head screaming about racial issues would they consider it racism? No answer to that question. Funny that.

Let's not forget I also posted a link to the conviction for stabbings in Cork too.

It begs the question though is everyone else asked for 'proof' for an opinion? Funny they never provided proof to any of their claims eh.


Please explain clearly with citations how I insulted them more than once? I corrected their spelling once as it's a pet peeve of mine things being spelt incorrectly but I don't think that's an insult or whatever to show them the correct way to spell a word.

The irony here is the person was saying I'm drumming up white supremacist support and this is a REAL INSULT as it's slander and utter nonsense but I resented being insulted with a word the person couldn't spell. What's wrong with correcting their spelling?

And what about their very real insults to me? Funny how they are ignored.

apologies for the delay in responding; I wanted to take the time to look into this properly and form an opinion based on the original content of the post in question, the DRP preceding my input, and your PM exchange with the moderators.

Personally, I draw a slightly different line in the sand in the attach you mention in your post in that I don't necessarily think that it is beyong the realms of possibility to include race as a factor in the attack depicted in the video clip you mention. Proven, no, but I can understand why it may be considered as a possible factor, given the dynamics in play. And if that were the only factor in the decision to card that post, I would likely have overturned the card.

However, looking at the card in question, the card was issued for (and I quote) "Trolling... you are posting in an intentionally provocative fashion in order to gain a reaction from other members.

Reading the post in question, I would have to agree that it fits that description.

Likes of "Irish network against racism" Just keep bleating on about the racist Irish but actual racist savage attacks and attempted murders against Irish is ignored ENTIRELY as they are white/caucasian. How racist to Irish can you get? Irish people are so insignificant to these folk they don't even warrant a mention. Same for the media. Ignored almost entirely. Odd murmur here and there.

Imagine being so biased against the Irish that no matter what happens to them their issue never will be highlighted.

If either of these attacks the roles were reversed we would never hear the end of it. Protests/marches/songs/front page news/INAR and their ilk have a meltdown the left would stage protests wheel out Boyd Barrett or one of the other champagne socialists to give a speech


But racist attacks and assualts on Irish people? Nah they don't count. Irish lifes certainly don't matter to this lot!

Here we have, again, a fine example of where context is king and fuzzy lines are very very important for moderating things. In your post, a line has definitely been crossed in that post in that it has gone well beyond being informative or even being a personal opinion (correct or not), and has fallen slap bang in the territory of handing out the pitchforks, using extremely loaded language with the sole purpose of trying to get a response. Race is always going to be a tricky topic to discuss as a factor in any situation that carries a negative outcome, and in this instance, you carried it into territory unwelcome on this site.
