Anyone have experience with these guys? I’ve just through my 12 month used car warranty and looking for protection for a further 12/24 months.

Looks like a Mapfre policy has to be bought directly through a dealer whereas I can buy one of these policies directly.

It's really an insurance policy against mechanical failures. Just make sure you read the fine print carefully around what is covered, how it is covered and what is not covered. You also need to check what dealers/independent garages will actually deal with these 3rd party warranty companies before you commit. Many won't because it can be too much hassle or they will only do the work if you pay for it and then you deal with the warranty company to claim the money back.

Thanks Bazz. That’s a good shout to see what local indie’s deal with them. I was in with a mechanic during the week who does work for Mapfre and said it was very straightforward. I understood that he was paid by Mapfre rather than the customer. Worth checking out anyway.
