Section 18 statute limitations

    Can someone explain to me if they know anything about this section 18 of the statute of limitations does it mean that if during the 12 years of adverse possession accrued if somebody abandons the property before the end of the 12 years, does this end the time and it has to start again with a new owner of the property

    Well from reading section 18. Seems there needs to be a continuous period of the required limitation to stop an action of recovery of the property. Which is 12 years although the section 18 does not say it. If a continous 12 year period is not complete and the property is abandoned the clock starts all over again if another squatter takes possession of the property.
