Deemed Disposal on UK ETFs?

As you know the 8-Year Deemed Disposal applies to EU-Based ETFs. And of course in another draconian rule, we can't buy US ETFs. However, since Brexit is now official, are we able to buy ETFs on the LSE without this crazy rule? For example there are some Euro denominated all-world trackers on there. Anyone with any insight?
