    Hi

NCT is booked in for Sunday week.
Dashboard says service due but the car had so little use in last year I'm pretty sure its absolutely fine.

So question is, is the tester gonna care that the car's service interval has come around?

By time of test, the message will say "service overdue by 20 days"

    Thanks.

Won't be a problem. Depending on the car you may be able to reset it yourself manually, try Google it.

My car has a 'service due' message which comes up in the centre of the speedo as soon as you start the engine. Passed the NCT today.

You should be fine, I've passed with a check engine light on.

Yes unless it's a diesel you will pass with check engine light on.
