Property tax undervalued

So I have been paying the recommended tax since it came out. I have never changed it. When the letter came in I just paid it. Over the years the the value has obviously gone up.

Now that I hope to sell this year. What will happen? Will I get a fine or will they work it out and give me a bill?

Properties were valued 01/05/13. The next valuation date is 01/11/21. There has been no change in the interim. Increases or decreases in between are not relevant.

Thanks for that. I never realised, thought it had to be looked at each year by myself. All good so.

When you self valued your property in 2013 the next valuation was to be done in 2019 but it was delayed until this year so sounds like you're fine.

Revaluations on the original rates were intended but were deferred and the current situation has pushed it out further. Who knows what November will bring
