Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Reason for roadworks on Fonthill RD/Newlands X/Belgard etc

Anyone know the reason for the ongoing roadworks that have been in place on Fonthill Rd, Newlands X and Belgard Road? can't find reason on SDCC site. One of the neighbours reckoned that they are laying cables up to Amazon data centre in the auld Jacobs factory on Belgard but I wouldn't have thought that would be such a big…

One of the neighbours reckoned that they are laying cables up to Amazon data centre in the auld Jacobs factory on Belgard but I wouldn't have thought that would be such a big job.

Possibly something to do with solving spate of power outages over last few months I'd have thought/hoped!

There is a data cable being laid there, reckon your neighbors are right. Check what contractor is digging, you'll probably see it on the vans or road traffic signs.
