I am trading in my car for a new car.

Am I obliged to complete the Change of Vehicle Ownership form, using the Vehicle Registration Cert?

    Thanks

No but you will have to sign it in most cases.

Dealers can do all online and it goes in their name temporarily so it doesn't add an owner to it.

They only need the number on the very front top part of the VLC.

Meant to add they will want the VLC so as they can get the new owner to fill in but as stated they no longer need to send these off and can sort online.

No, sales to dealers use the RF105 form.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
