    Mastitis is a rarity here. We have a tube for the tit lucky enough.

    If we were to give a shot also out of what we have in stock, la alymysin or betamox which would be most suitable?

    I think either is effective, just make sure to strip the quarter out well before the tube, also if you have some lube for the teat when milking her off to reduce irritating the teat and making her sorer, last time I had a case the vet just prescribed penicillin, for 5 days I think? Milking her will take off some of the soreness tho and she might allow calf suck better too, id strip the quarter a few times a day if possible.

    Not sore at all. Father drew her a few times today on slats and she didn’t flinch a bit.

    Will give the LA so for ease sake rather than the daily betamox
