Hi all, only into shares/stocks last year or so but have a few that would be down and making no headway ie banks and insurances, just wondering what the more experienced buyers do with stock in their portfolio that is down?do you hold and hope for the rise or take the hit and move on hoping to cover the loss?am beginning to believe just get rid and move on myself.

I'd imagine it depends what you would plan to do with the money. Also depends when you purchased them and thus how far down. I'd imagine financial stocks are recovering but slowly enough.
