Ordering online from Europe

I’m looking for advice folks. I found a rug for my living room that I want from a company called Redoute. They have websites in many countries across Europe/US but not here in Ireland. They deliver for free in many countries including the UK. Unfortunately, they’ve deemed the rug to be “overweight” and that means they won’t deliver it to Ireland. Does anyone know any clever ways to get around this? I’d really appreciate any advice you can give me.

Have any relatives or friends in the North, might be an option? Alternatively you could try using a forwarding service.

Tell them to trim enough off the rug until it meets weight criteria.

Or cancel your order and see do Amazon.de sell it.

ðŸ˜႒Thanks for this. I know Parcel Motel have suspended their virtual UK address. I don’t know if An Post have. An Post also do an American virtual address. They’re would be customs on it any case.
