In my opinion these type of courses should be offered free of charge to anyone involved in the build process especially now as so many people have the time to get involved in upskilling.

So if Tipperary Energy are a non profit organisation, where are the costs going? Engineers Ireland or Declan Daly?

Engineers Ireland will get a cut and then the rest goes to social enterprises work in Tipp e.g: refurbishing council houses, dressing fuels poverty issues etc etc

So what services will YOU offer for free?
What about the PUP and the circular economy?

As a sole trader I cannot afford to offer these type of courses for free or otherwise. We are in exceptional times at the moment not only with the pandemic but the bigger issue of climate change. If the government is serious about up-skilling the workforce as quickly as possible then in my humble opinion people should have the choice to take up these type of courses at a heavily discounted rate or for free.
Here is a link to a series of free seminars on NZEB. https://lnkd.in/dXpBv-q
