Merc owners - where to buy parts now?

Hi folks, I need a blower motor for a 190e. Plenty of them available but all in the UK, with big shipping costs. Can anyone recommend a Euro site for Merc parts? Google doesn't show me much, but maybe I'm using the wrong parameters.

Here are some links I collected over the last year, I have not actually purchased from any of them yet, but all (pos bar 1) EU companies.

These two have the exploded diagrams:

https://mercedes.7zap.com/en/eu/fg/car/280/280+ce/ (not sure is this in EU)
    https://www.niemoeller.de/en/w123c/w123c/B053/

https://mercedes-classic-parts.com/ (Marcel Kappen) - previous owner got parts from here - good quality in my experiende

    https://www.wdb-teile.de/en/

    https://shop.trucktec.com//#

    https://www.kurth-classics-autoparts.de/gb/seat-improvement/268-mercedes-w123-seat-reinforcement-no-1.html

I'd also give your local MB dealer a call, they have had parts for my 123 so should for the later 201. Just make sure you're sitting down lol. But may be worth it in the end for the convenience etc

If buying from Germany look at setting up an account at https://www.mailboxde.com/ when they open back up again. Currently restricting new members becuase of covid and border issues apparently. Rates to Ireland aren't the worst.

I have been using German E Bay for years and I'm on there every night buying stuff. I have rarely used the UK for spares. I also use OTTO.ie for service items and have used www.autodoc.de in the past. Once you know which manufacturer makes what its easy. Rule of thumb though, stay as far away from Meyle and Topran as you can. Febi can be hit and miss so be careful

Have you tried your local motor factors?

Rarely will they supply a quality part except possibly filters.

If you ask for a blower motor, they will supply a blower motor. If you ask for a particular brand, they can ask their suppliers to order one if its not a stock item. I work for a company who supplies motor factors.

I actually looked on irishautoparts.ie and they have a Vemo one listed. However I didn't have the year and spec of the car so not much use.

I disagree. I frequent consort motors in Drumcondra and I find their stuff very good, plus it's great to be able to return parts to a physical shop if needed.

    I disagree.

You can if you like but it doesn't make you right

Try winparts.ie in Holland. I was surprised to find E24 parts at great prices.

Not really. OEM parts for Mercedes cars that I have rarely filter down to motor factors except service items and even then care is needed
