Looking for a station/resources that would have good educational shows aimed at five year olds. They like volcanos, dinosaurs, space that kind of thing. A nat geo for kids or something like that. Is there anything like that around? Is sky/now TV etc the best for that kinda thing? Thanks!

Wild Kratts is brillant. My children have learnt so many facts about the animal world from it.

‘Blaze and the Monster Machines’ is pretty good at delivering some educational bits while having enough action to engage with kids.

‘Puffin Rock’ is a bit of fun and gives a lot of wildlife info.

The shows like ‘Andy’s Dinosaur/Safari/Aquatic Adventures’ shows on CBeebies are worth a look. He’s got a baby animals one too.

Netflix : Ask the story bots, Dinosaur Train, Wild Kratts, Octonauts and Gigantosaurus are all both entertaining and informative*.

RTE Junior is pretty good for FTA with no ads :
Andy's Dinosaur adventures, The Body Brothers, Let's find out and plenty more.

I don't have BBC but presumably CBBC is brilliant.

    *according to a 5 year old :)

Operation Ouch is a good one that my six year old loves at the moment, it's on Netflix and it's 2 doctor brothers explaining all manner of ailments and treatments.

He also loved Wild Kratz when he was a bit younger but seems to have got over that now.

Maddie Moat on CBeebies is also good.
