Almost any tractor parts suppliers. But there will be only one bolt (not included) goes down from the top. Bolts to part not visible in the photo.

    It's called a U-guard.

Thanks for that. Just wanted to check before going in as not too familiar with the tractor. Used infrequently but wanted to make it safer.

Does the PTO stop spinning when it's supposed to on your 590, it doesn't on mine, it's an expensive fix. I got a screw in cover for it.
Only use the PTO for the mower, haybob and fert spreader so have the cover on it for most of the year.

Yeah it turns on by itself. My thinking was I never use the PTO for anything. Just bale lift and transport box. So a cover left on permanently would be safer.

Well then it's not a cover like those in the link above you need.

You can get a metal cover that screws into the back end of the tractor covering the PTO stub completely.
It's called a PTO cover cap.

I assumed since bolt on was requested that it was the U-gaurd.

The screw on PTO cover is there also. no bolts required.

Thanks for sending on that link.

Will that pto screw on work with the 590 you think? Is it a standard fit?

There is a tractor compatibility section. Seems its fairly standard across a lot of models. I bought a few of these and have fitted them to 300 and 600 series tractors as they all suffer with the same PTO Brake issue.
