Boiler is lighting for upstairs, but not downstairs

I've an Ariston e Combi evo gas boiler and its lighting for upstairs, but not downstairs there are 2 separate switches.

I've done the reset a few times, I've turned the temperature right up on the system the but the boiler is not calling for heat when i turn on the downstairs switch.

the pressure is fine, I left the power off overnight in the hope that it may reset itself

Also there are no error messages

Is there any quick fix or anything i can do or is this a job for a plumber, i read online about a zone valve i cant find it in the manual.

I'm guessing its that or the thermostat

    Thanks

There’s a zone valve(possibly in your hot press or adjacent to the boiler)
On the side of this there’s a manual override lever that can be slid across and latched into the open position

Same thing happened me it was the zone valve.. One under the sink usually for downstairs. One in hot press for upstairs.. Its a plumber job.. Replacement valve was 50 euro.

I had a brocken Valve motor which made the burner run all the time ( to my specified temperature). Got an electrican to find out which one. Replaced it myself without hassel. Just an electric connection and screw it onto the valve

    Thanks everyone

Sorted the problem, i was studying the boiler manual and say about the thermostat, then i remembered the thermostat behind the curtain and it was turned down to the lowest, turned it up and the boiler lighted up
