Public record of land transactions?

    Hi all,

    Not sure if what I'm looking for is a pipe dream or not but is it possible to get records of transactions for a plot of land? I bought the folio on landdirect.ie but didn't get anything there, Just wondering if this is something that's even possible as I know there is a mechanism to check the history of transactions on house.

    You can get an archive folio from the PRA. You’re not able to order it online, it has to be done in writing by post. It takes I think 8 weeks or so for them to post it out. You should call the PRA and ask about it, they were very helpful when I was looking for this information for some land. I think it costs €40 but I’m not 100% sure.
