    Hi..i have a suspicion that someone is still claiming to be an active member of the defense forces, when they are no longer serving. I know this is a data protection minefield, but are there are resources to check into this?

    Why does it matter to you?

    As for their record you will not gain access.

    You can report any concerns to https://www.gov.ie/en/organisation/department-of-defence/

    Are you unhappy that the person is embellishing their story, or that they are AWOL?
