    My favourite thing about the Weather forum is when someone tries to downplay the forecast, and everyone gets really annoyed with them, as if someone saying it won't snow will result in it not snowing.

    I spent a good few winters in NY , no matter what the thermometer said it never felt as cold as Ireland. I put it down to the humidity.

    Imagine -50 in the humidity we have here? We're not equipped for occasional extremes of weather here either, the country shuts down with a few inches of snow.

    Perfect time for it though, it's not as if we have anywhere we can go.
