Does anyone use these or what's people's experiences with them? I've been asked to do some pest control around a farm yard, but a .22 is my only option. I'd like to help out but for me the .22 isn't suitable. I was wondering what these would be like for penetration and ricochet on small vermin around a yard? Or something like the cci segmented? Birdshot seems like a complete waste of time from what I've read. I know this is air rifle territory but I'd like to help out as he was good enough to give me shooting permission on his land, but only if it can be done safely.

I use them to dispatch mink in cages and they're fine.I use to have a cz and at 20y your looking at a group about 1inch.They will go through galvanised sheeting at 20y.They will also bounce like hell and are still a lethal round so be careful.

I'd suggest doing the best you can with rat shot, yer staying safe and being seen to be helpful.

First they came for the socialists...

I got hit in the face with a ricochet last year in a shed.. RIGJT UNDER MY MY EYE..

That's why I'm looking a bit more closely at rat shot..

The bull**** in all of this is thatbthat air rifles are included on the storage limits of yer guns. So, I find I can't get rid of my other guns because I need them more.

If your a real enthusiastic hunter then your left well short with 5 guns..

Any good shotgun man will tell you that they have or need two shotguns to suit their needs but yes they could struggle with one..
Any good rifle shooter would suggest you might need several centre fire rifles for different tasks. Several rimfire rifles too. Some being tube fed, some being S/AUto or single shot
And then any good airgunner will tell ye that ye need a few of air guns two..

Never mind the fact that you like straight-pulls, pumps, levers or double barrel or single barrel or old or new.. or vintage or mill-surp items...

    Your restricted on every front.
