School Zoom Lessons on a Samsung Tab A 10.1 inch

My kids are having a few Zoom lessons where the teacher and all classmates are on the Zoom call.

They are Jr. Infants and 1st Class... so it's more about the social aspect rather than academic, and being able to 'see' their friends.

We are connecting to Zoom with Samsung 10.1 inch Tablets - but this only allows for 4 participants to be displayed on screen at once, and we have to swipe to the side to see the next 4, and so on.

Is there any way to be able to see more people on one screen, or is 4 the max on an Android device?

According to Zoom, on Android you can view up to 4 participants' video at the same time. So you need a different computer to see more participants. A laptop or Desktop PC, for example.

Funny that on an iPad it allows you to see up to 16 or 25 participants at once (depending on the screen size of the iPad) but an android device is limited to 4....

Thats because Zoom are treating Android as one platform and iOS/iPadOS as two.
