Immersion not heating all taps

Hi, I am hoping someone can help. When I use the gas central to heat my water, all taps and electric power shower receive hot water. However when I use the immersion to heat my hot water all taps get hot water except taps and power shower in my ensuite. Can anyone explain why this could be and how I can fix.

Only logical reason I can give is that you have a combi boiler, the central heating side also supplies heat via a coil in your HW cylinder and the HW side only supplies hot water to your ensuite. Can you post a few details of your boiler, make/model/output etc and a phot or two if possible. When the boiler is off open a ensuite HW tap for a few minutes then shut it and the boiler should start/stop, if a combi boiler.

I have a condensing boiler. Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30CDi Classic System Gas Boiler. Per original post gas is working perfect and heats all rads and taps. Immersion heats all taps except taps in ensuite and power shower in ensuite.

Is the (electric) immersion and the heating coil in the same hot water cylinder.? If the cylinder is hot (like now) and if you shut down the boiler do you get hot water in the ensuite?.
If you don't then it means that you have a combination boiler that only supplies hot water to the ensuite shower and hot water tap(s). It still heats the hot water cylinder which supplies hot water to all the other hot water outlets as does the immersion.

Hi John, thanks for getting back to me. Yes I think the immersion and heating coil are in the HW cylinder. As far as I know I only have one HW cylinder in the hot press and a cold water tank in the attic.

The other day when I used the immersion to heat the water, the cylinder was hot, I had hot water in all taps except ensuite HW tap and shower.

Yes I do have a Condensing Combi boiler. So sounds like it is configured like you suggest to and only supplies hot water to the ensuite shower and hot water tap(s). It still heats the hot water cylinder which supplies hot water to all the other hot water outlets as does the immersion.

    Thanks Dave,
As a matter of interest do you have mains pressure water feeding your combi boiler to suppy the hot water to the ensuite or is it supplied from the attic cold water tank via a booster pump?.

The 30CDI isn’t a combi boiler through so that doesn’t really explain it.
Some photos might explain a lot

This attachment seems to say it is?.

    Does it?
It has an optional diverter valve to enable you run a DHW feed to an indirect cylinder at a different temperature, but that’s about the height of it.

The below is the combi. Both nice machines!

Thanks, that's very interesting, I just looked for combi boiler in my attachment and found it.....so if Dave isn't getting ensuite HW just now (if he switches off the boiler) then maybe that boiler is configured with a plate heat exchanger which turns it back into a combi?, doesn't make sense.
