    Hi there,

I just got the results back from my Nct and am looking to gauge the costs before taking it up to my local mechanic.

The issues are as follows for a Honda civic,

Track rod ends on nearside and offside front steering linkage due to damaged/displaced dust covers.

Ball joints on nearside and offside front of front suspension due to damaged/displaced dust covers.

    Cracked rear lamp lens.

    Thanks,
    Marty.

Track rod ends both sides I would say €100-€120 for parts and labour, plus another €20 for tracking afterwards.

By dust cover I presume you mean the rubber boot? If the ball joints need to be replaced parts and labour around €150 I think

As for the lens I'm unsure what the fix is. If you need to buy a new tail light pick one up 2nd hand for €40-€50 and change yourself it's only a few screws.

You might get the lot done for €300 give or take

    sounds like a rob.

If the light is just cracked and no pieces are broken out or loose, you will get away with putting some lens tape over the crack. They will be happy with that.
