First Build Gaming/Streaming PC Vs. Current Rigs Upgrades

Right so I am looking to get into streaming some gaming and live DJ sets. The thought of buying a next gen console has crossed my mind but I am also into a graphic design so a PC ticks all the boxes. Question is do I build a new rig or upgrade what I have.

Currently my main computer is a HP Envy and a free DELL that I got from a previous job. Its has only been turned on once and is devaluing sitting where it is. Only today I had an offer €200 which I think is less than what it is worth but if I wait any longer it will devalue even more.

    Model: HP ENVY 700-311na - G9B05EA
    Motherboard: MS-7826 (Kaili) MSI
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz (max turbo boost - 4.0 GHz)
    RAM: 16 GB DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 MB/s
    GPU: RADEON RX 480 8GB GDDR5 NITRO+ PCI-E 2XHDMI DVI-D 2XDP OC B/P
Audio: 7.1 channel audio with jack sensing
    Storage: 3TB HDD + 500GB SSD

    OptiPlex 3020 MT (Mini-Tower)
    Service Tag:13jjq52
    Intel HD Graphics
    VGA + DP graphics output
    i5-4590 3.30 GHz
    4GB RAM

How much might I be able to sell my main rig for? Is €500 way too much?

For the DELL I was thinking of using it as a streaming machine to reduce load on my gaming PC. As it only has 4GB of ram that would need to be upgraded and I guess a graphics card?

€200 for that Dell is a very fair offer. Similar machines sell on Ebay for about €100-120.

If you meant you got offered €200 for the HP then yes that is a joke. People paying close to that these days for the RX480 on its own.

€500 is a fair starting price and see what offers come in, but €200 is people chancing their arm.
