Is there any issues with this build before I pull the trigger?

I just plan on gaming at 1080p 144hz and I will use a placeholder gpu until I can find a 3060ti that wont put me in liquidation.

    CASE Fractal Design Meshify C

    CPU Ryzen 5 3600

    GPU RTX 3060 TI

MOBO Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming AC

RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 16GB(2x8)

    PSU Corsair TX-M 650W 80+ Gold

    Storage Crucial MX500 500GB

3060Ti is overkill for 1080p monitor, basically, the waste of money. You need 1660, 1660 Super, 2060 or wait for 3050, 3050Ti or 3060 until it gets released.

If you'll want to get a 1440p or 4K monitor in future, you'll get an aquavalent GPU and 650W may not be enough. So I strongly recommend going with 750W or 850W quality PSU as it powers all your pc parts so you better get a good fully modular gold standard PSU. You don't want a joy of wasted hours and extra money changing a PSU after few years when you'll upgrade a pc.

    I'd suggest to consider 5600X - it's a great gaming CPU.

Storage 500GB only? Is this a joke? It's 2021 - M.2 SSD in min 500GB but ideally 1TB and a 1-4 TB HDD or equivalent Sata SSD is the normal build. What would you do with 500GB only?

What games will you play with this pc and what is the exact monitor you'll pair it with?

I plan on playing Pubg, Csgo, Apex, Gta, Cyberpunk on high settings with a steady 144fps.
From what I seen on Youtube the 3060ti looks the perfect one for that. If I can get a normal 3060, Ill get that instead though

I dont have any plans to upgrade to 1440p or upgrade anything for a few years. Id rather just sell the pc and start fresh. 1080p is fine for me

But Ill definitely up the storage.

Viewsonic VX2458-mhd is the monitor I was gonna get but ill use an old asus 75 hz monitor until I get this monitor and 3060

Note that Viewsonic VX2458-mhd is a TN panel monitor! You can get an IPS panel monitor for a similar price: https://www.laptopsdirect.ie/aoc-24g2u-24-144hz-full-hd-1ms-freesync-gaming-monitor-24g2u-bk/version.asp

Again, 3060Ti is not a 1080p monitor. For your games 2060 is good enough.

    This is terrible advice.

OP wants to play at 1080p 144 fps, so more GPU = better.

100eur is better spent on GPU or monitor than CPU for gaming, end-of.

I think this person is just an evolved BobbyG to be honest. They have been posting complete nonsense the last while.

Wouldn't say complete nonsense, otherwise you're lying or over exaggerating.

I admit that I missed Cyberpunk, but for Gta a 2060 for 1080p gaming is good enough. Don't need to be a prick.

Well, the person said they want to play at 1080P 144hz. And you're telling them a 3060Ti is a waste and a GTX1660 Super would do them?

And then going on to recommend an expensive 850W 80+ Gold power supply and double-the-cost 5600X processor....

Sorry but that is absolutely really terrible advice.

On another thread you were giving bizarre advice that a 5ms 60hz 1080P monitor was almost useless for gaming despite the fact the person kept trying to tell you it was fine for them.

I have seen some other advice like this as well, if you're going to be handing out advice like this in a tech forum don't be surprised to be called on it, because it will seriously negatively impact on people who assume they're getting good advice.

I assume people, who pay money for new pc, aren't stupid enough to believe what others say/advise online as it's just an opinion, which should be checked by themselves by doing a bit of online research in order to decide themselves, weighting other people opinions as references.

Definitely up the storage. I'd be looking at least 1-2TB. Reason is that some games are now over 100gb install, doesn't leave a lot of room for movies, music, etc.

I'd be tempted to get 16gb ram

I'd also go for a 750+ psu, but that's just me.

    Rest looks good to me

    Happy gaming!! :)

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.
