Can you find out the exact name and model of your existing gas system?

If you don't have a gas system have you confirmed mains gas is on the street? Do neighbours have mains gas heating?

Do you only have fireplace, no oil.or anything?

Are floors solid concrete or wood, is there a basement?

The gas boiler typically is mounted on an outside wall. Have you identified a spot?

Here are some other questions to ask yourself:

It might involve major renovations in at least one room. It should probably be done as part of other work. You may want to renew old pipework, so I would say a survey is needed. The boiler alone is not cheap.
