Hi, 2016 1.6d Insignia 115K kms, engine management light is on, giving code P0263, ok to drive on for time being? Have a mechanic but cant get near there at the moment.
Also, stop/start stopped working, is P0263 why?

    Thanks in advance, S.

P0263 is an [OBD-II diagnostic trouble code] which indicates that the engine control module (ECM) detected the cylinder number 1 having low contribution to the running of the engine; low power.

You could try disconnecting the battery (firstly make sure you've the media code etc)

Why would I disconnect the battery? To clear the code?

    Genuine question...

Car has no other issues, driving fine, no loss of power etc.

Yes or get a loan of and obd 2 scanner etc, whether or which probably need a mechanic if the codes come up again
