    Hi all,

Does anyone know a company or business that manufactures off size gravel boards (the bottom concrete part of wooden fences)

    The standard size is 1.8m.

    I have 1 x 2.18m
    2 x 2.10m
    1 x 2.06m
    1 x 1.40m

Moving the posts in not an option due to the garden size and the existing wooden boards.

I'm just looking to replace the bottom wooden one to stop rot.

    Cheers

Spent hours/days/weeks researching this topic before putting in my fence last year. I really don’t think there is any other size except 1.8m wide, 300mm tall and 50mm width, though I could be wrong.

I went with these lads - couldn’t rate them highly enough. They’ll advise if they can make a specific piece for you but I doubt it as they use moulds.

You could cut down a slab for the narrowest one. But you’d have to join two together for the rest - or at least support the join with brick or something underneath. Though I’m sure it’ll shift overtime.

After that, I’d say your back to looking at wood. Or perhaps composite decking in long strips could be an option - two on top of each other to make up the 300mm height that the gravel board commonly is.

Or dig the whole thing up and start again!!!
