i built a new house 4 years ago and at the time we got an electrical wire brought out for electric gates and garden bollard lights with a view to installing in the future.

My question is where would the other end of these cables typically be in the house? Would it be left dis in the consumer unit?

Gate installer found the power cable for the electric gates in the consumer unit but no sign of the other end of the cable for the garden lights. Have it cable in a duct out in the garden but not sure where it goes into the house. To a switch etc.?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Yea there is a spare switch at the front door, that must be it so. Would it be wired on a circuit and all?

    Probably it

The garden lights should be RCD protected- verify that

It may be done or overlooked but would be important there
