    1. Josh Wycherley(21/Munster)
    2. Michael Milne(21/Leinster)
    3. Callum Reid(22/Ulster)
    4. Jordan Duggan(23/Connacht)
    5. Marcus Hanan(20/Leinster)

Wycherley is the best scrummager, while Milne is the best heavy carrier and Reid the most athletic. Both Milne and Reid are works in progress in the scrum. Duggan has bounced back well from an ACL and Hanan did well to earn a leinster academy contract after his u20 season was cut short.

    Other contracted young looseheads:
    James French(22/Munster)
    Charlie Ward(21/Connacht)

Wycherly could be a mainstay. Looks very good. Milne just needs some experience. His scrummaging needs work, but he looks like a beast of a ball carrier. It will be interesting to see Jack Boyle. A lot of hype about him.

Boyle is only 18, he is years away from being physically ready.

He is certainly the top underage prospect at the position though, but probably the lease physically mature:

    1. Jack Boyle(U19/Leinster)
    2. Mark Donnelly(U20/Munster)
    3. George Saunderson(U20/Ulster)
    4. Hugo O'Malley(U20/Leinster)
    5. Aaron Rowan(U19/Leinster)

Will be interesting to see how Hanan gets on tomorrow off the bench for Leinster.
