Hi folks, currently rearing 40 calves annually but been offered a shed which would allow me to rear another 40, but it’s over 20 mins drive from the home place to powder would have to be mixed onsite. Everything else suits, we have the land to take them.

Now, there is power in the shed running a mains fencer and water plumbed in, but how do I heat the water? I have to do some enquiring in regards to the electric as it may not suit for electric heater but are the gas powered ones any good? Would need circa 100L of water at 40 degrees. Don’t want anything permanent, and don’t want something expensive, any ideas and are there gas powered options for 100L of water?

    Thanks.
