Central Heating Controller

    Hi,

I have an ofch system with Hive heating controls. The system is set up to heat the water and regulate two heating zones (downstairs and upstairs). You have to have the hot water on first before you can heat either zone.

I really don’t like the Hive system very much and find it temperamental. Accordingly, I was thinking of getting it replaced with a non-smart central heating controller that you can simply turn on/off and/or programme.

Could anyone advise me on what my options are for a controller? Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance.

Above is one of the more popular ones.

You have an unusual setup with your hive. Perhaps you don't have 3 zone valves.

Any problems that I see with Hive installations are caused by:
    1. Poor wifi.
    2. Thermostat too far from the receiver or something like a large fridge blocking signal to receiver.

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"
