Fix before trading in?

I'm trading my 10 yo car for a brand new car.

Deal was done in November, with expected Jan delivery.

Not the greatest trade in value, but I am happy enough with the deal and less hassle of trying to unload.

Car now not expected until March, and in the last week, 3 problems have come up.

On board computer says brake fluid change
Rear suspension airbag has gone on one side
On board computer is complaining about the rear camera, although working fine

    I guess I have 3 options:
    1. Get these fixed and trade in
    2. Don't fix them, and say nothing when I turn up to collect the car
    3. Be honest and tell the dealer

I'm thinking option 3 and take the line, I should not have to pay for these since I should already be in the new car.

Just hand the keys over, you'll never hear back from them, they've just sold you a new car.

You'd get away with keeping the head down and saying nothing.

I'd say if you ring them and tell them they probably wont care anyway and will just be relieved you aren't asking where the new car is.

Anything 10 years old will be getting sold to trade or auctioned off, those issues wont make much odds in those circumstances.

I'm sure they priced your 10 year old car at trade prices which normally means they allowed for it to be less than perfect. Just drive it in and hand over the keys and log book.

Get the car plugged in and see if the errors can be cleared and if they stay away.

I dont think you'll erase a brake fluid change or a deflated airbag.
