    I don't work in this area but I had a flick through this

    At 4 min they discuss the new rules on lighting;

    - Rcd protection for all domestic lighting circuits

    - Dedicated Rcd protection for bathrooms no longer required

    -Faults must not cause a hazard therefore lighting RCBOs preferable

    So what that's saying is ;

    -You can add more lighting points to an existing circuit if suitable and is RCD protected

    -You can add a new final circuit using a new MCB from an existing RCD

    -the above musn't create a hazard

    -Or add a new RCBO for the new lighting points

    Perfect that's my question answered, thanks

    Anything except lighting RCBOs will create a hazard imo

    Not sure why the rules are relaxed on bathroom RCBOs and allowing shared RCDs if that the finished regulations
