Thanks K Flyer, hopefully its repairable. €500 for a pump to last just 3 years isnt ideal.

Thanks to your address I found the website and parts Catalog. Much appreciated.

    did you get it fixed?

I have the same pump leaking water as well from the drain plug

I replaced the pump , the parts were expensive enough to make it more sensible to replace the pump.

    Hi,

Same here... Drops visible just under drain plug... But not sure if that's were the problem is. Did you fixed yours? Were was the leak coming from. What needs to be replaced? Thx.

Save yourself the hassle and replace the pump. I had some corrosion on the shaft which caused the shift seal to weep. I contacted Wilo and they just said we never had a report of shift corrosion and the pump was only just over 2 years old. That was it. I replaced the pump because the shift and seal were not much cheaper than the pump.

I am not 100% sure but it seam to leak on drain cup. I am getting tomorrow 13x3 o'ring and will replace it... I will let you know if it helped.

How do you know that your pump was leaking on shaft? Was it visable?

    Pic were it is weeping.

My pump is only 3 years old. I took off most of the covering brackets. It seams to be dry under when I touch plastic case of the water pump, so I am hoping it is not a shaft seal. I believe if shaft seal is gone then it is leaking in the middle (between motor and pump)? And then pump will be wet underneath...

You can take off the silver covers on the side easy enough. Do you have mains water or a well?

Hi, I have removed all covers. Changed the o'ring and still leaking. I spoke with Wilo Service and they promised to post me with drainage cup. I have mains water.

Pump now start to leak very heavy. What I did I bought new in Italy for €180 delivered. Price great but still not sure if I should not opt for different pump. My neighbour had similar problem and got grunfos scala2. It seams to be much better (self priming, very quiet, 5yrs warranty). Unfortunately expensive €500. I have plumber tomorrow to check my system and replace pump and expansion vessels.

Hi folks. Just moved into a new house and the pump, a Wilo HiMulti 3-23 /1/5/230, seems loud, like too loud for domestic setting. Are they generally loud? Seems to take an age to knock off aswel.Anyone else have any issues like this?
