Thinking about building a porch to the front.

There’s a concrete path there already. And I’ll have to raise the level about 18 inches.

Would the concrete path be sufficient as a foundation?
Once it’s built up the level
There be a small wall with windows at either side , front door and windows with a lean too roof.

Just planning at the moment and trying to cost up. Won’t be building this weekend

    No.
You need to excavate for proper foundations to the design of an engineer.
That’s all I’ll say as structural advice is strictly forbidden on here, and rightly so.

Engage an engineer or competent builder to do it properly.

Also be aware of your planning limitations.

Nice information as I am into the same situation and would be doing the same for my parents home, the information will help a lot to deal with, though my parents are already in discussion with few experts for this such for how much time and investment will be required for this to be done and they are yet to find and select the right person for this task who have good knowledge of planning limitations and will do it accordingly in the correct way.
