Payment security measures new website

    [font=Calibri, sans-serif]I want to file an official complaint about the new website. The security measures for a simple payment are over the top and totally unnecessary. [/font]

    [font=Calibri, sans-serif]To make a payment between my own accounts I need to take the following steps: [/font]
    [font=Calibri, sans-serif] [/font]
    • [font=Calibri, sans-serif]1.      [/font][font=Calibri, sans-serif]Type my user number to log in[/font]
    • [font=Calibri, sans-serif]2.      [/font][font=Calibri, sans-serif]Type my DOB or 4 last digits of my mobile phone [/font]
    • [font=Calibri, sans-serif]3.      [/font][font=Calibri, sans-serif]Put 3 digits of my 6 digit security PIN[/font]
    • [font=Calibri, sans-serif]4.      [/font][font=Calibri, sans-serif]Give approval via my phone app[/font]
    • [font=Calibri, sans-serif]5.      [/font][font=Calibri, sans-serif]Make the payment[/font]
    • [font=Calibri, sans-serif]6.      [/font][font=Calibri, sans-serif]Put 3 digits of my 6 digit security PIN[/font]
    • [font=Calibri, sans-serif]7.      [/font][font=Calibri, sans-serif]Give approval via my phone app[/font]

    [font=Calibri, sans-serif]It is absolutely bonkers, especially the last step. Please, at least, remove step 7 from that approval process. [/font]

    [font=Calibri, sans-serif]The new website layout, functionality and security measures are not an improvement in my experience. And this has nothing do to with accepting change. I understand and accept change, innovation and security. It has everything do to do with the new website not being user friendly and over the top security measures.

    These changes would be in line with PSD2 and Strong Customer Authentication, I have attached a link here for more info on this.
