What's the exact message and what GPU do you currently have?

    Hi thanks Spear
    I think it's intel (R) hd graphics
it says 'the video card has been physically removed from the system'

I suspect a bit of housekeeping would help. It's either drivers (highly unlikely as Windows should keep them relatively up to date) or overheating. Have you ever cleaned out the dust from your system? Might invest in a little thermal paste and reseat the heatsink.

Got an old i3 that need a bit of the same but I've been long fingering that job.

Your using integrated graphics? If so it obviously isn't enough to run the game.

The integrated graphics of that processor is way below the minimum spec, so you should probably consider getting a cheap 2nd hand card. Something for around €50 would be perfect for that game at high settings.

It should still run on your integrated graphics, just fairly poorly. I would start with upgrading your graphics drivers, they are probably ancient.

OK thanks guys, true about cleaning the dust I haven't done it in years
I reckon I go need a better graphics card too
    Any recommendations?
I really haven't a clue myself about this sort of thing
