GPU Replacement

    Hey Chaps

In a rebuilding process for a gaming rig, last rebuild was back in 2016. Looking for some advice on GPU

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 cpu on route with a compatible Motherboard. Also purchased a 1440 display.

My Gpu is the las part left to replace - have a RX480, its actually still working above expectations. However, I want to replace now as I can still get a decent price for it.

GPU market looks shot right now, any suggestions as to GPUs around to 400-500 quid mark?

Looks like a scalpers market :(

You've already realised that the market is a disaster zone which is why you can get what you are calling a decent price for the 480.

I'd say just stick with the 480 until you can find a 3060(Ti) in your budget, or whatever new card(s) AMD release in your range whenever they appear.

A 1080ti would be a very good improvement - they are going for 400 on adverts now but might be an option

Have been on my bucket list - but most are above the 500 quid mark atm :pac:

5700XT is another option. Less demand for them than the 1080ti.
