    Spyglass Hill 15/2

In the 14.20, Great White Shark looks great value @ 5/2, surely very hard to beat here

Any good racing stream to watch today ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

I really like Gelee Blanche in the 1.45 and think the bookies have this priced up all wrong.

Anyone willing to give Sams Profile a chance today, i am.

Still a bit of thinking to do on the Thyestes, but at a bigger price i Saturnas caught me eye. No bet yet.

Bramha Bull off 151 for me. Was only beaten 7L by Minella Indo off levels.
A bit of luck and a clear round and I cant see him out of the frame

Todays bookie pension contributions shall be:

    13.15 Ahaziah 25s
    14.20 Burrows Saint 10s
15.25 The Big Dog didn't get in so will chance Speak Easy 30s
    15.50 Rebel Early 20s

All ew and a manky ew fourfold.

At Fakenham I'm interested in the maiden hurdle, second race on the card. Galurin is the one I'll be watching. Think in time he'll be better than this lot. Lastly backed that Mandalayan in the final race at 33s. Greatrex is a useless ****e but this horse is too well handicapped to ignore.

More than I usually I would on an ordinary Thursday but they ya go.

About about 4/5 years ago I was heading back to Dublin from work in Kilkenny. Radio mentioned it was Thyestes meeting in Gowran so I swung off the motorway into the course. Was the year My Murphy won the big one.

Anyway, second or third race approaching and I'm looking at the horses in the parade ring. There's a short path from the ring to the owners bar and as I moved from the ring towards the course proper. I practically bumped into Rebecca Curtis. Wow. Stunning, breathtaking in fact. Perfection in human form.

I thought she was alright n'all.

I can imagine her telling the story something along the lines of:

This absolute gobshíte came up to me 4/5 years when i went to the Thyestes meeting for the first and only time. Drunk as a fool drinking cider, poor fella looked like he was just kicked out of the house by his wife, hadnt seen a bar of soap in a month by the smell of piss off him. The main reason I was on the course was that I heard there was an extremely handsome Dub called Slattsy going to the races, he's the reason i went truth be told, but every time i went to say hello his then girlfriend, Liz Hurley wouldnt let me approach. It was a shít day :D

    That ground is fcuking atrocious

It's a lottery trying to pick anything out. Just threw a few quid on Coko Beach, only because my mrs asked was there any cocoa left about half an hour ago.
