Laptop Recommendation request (Home/ Work)

I'm looking for some advice on what laptop would be a good fit for me, as it's my first time in years, buying one for home use



I have used a Lenovo Thinkpad T480 for work previously, and now looking for a new home laptop:


Budget: hoping to keep below €800 but may stretch above if im just outside



Mobility: Not a huge issue. Will be used around the house


Warranty: Not a huge issue, standard is fine



OS: Windows based



Use: Word processing, Excel, Internet browsing/ Show watching, some work related stuff for mrs padski (via online portals) (I will have a separate work laptop being provided soon)


Additional: need a HDMI connection/ size 14 inch or above/ built in webcam & microphone required



I've spent a fair bit of time checking online, but seem to be overwhelmed with choice

I haven't bitten the bullet on the Amazon one yet, as hoping to pick it up in person (have two deliveries from Amazon UK held in customs at the moment, so not willing to have a third)


I had another look and found this one, would this compare similarly to the above?

I've had no issues with amazon uk deliveries since Jan - they take a bit longer but coming through fine

acer is plastic, screen not as good, cpu power not as good as the 6-core 4600h in the Huawei.

at least it has the new 11th gen intel cpus which have a bump up in graphics power.
