    Hi,

My laptop keeps crashing. Sporadically. It black screens and startings repairing something. I have tried upgrading Windows but that fails too.

Are there any diagnostics I can run to diagnose?

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

Open a command prompt as administrator and run 'chkdsk c: /r' assuming your windows installation is on the 'c:' drive.
