Great car had one as company for 3 yrs ,but engine management system failed in snow and caused awful problems, Volvo had to gey tech from Sweden to check it even he could not fix it, sold at 3 yr old and 150k for €2000 to dealer.

It’s from a dealer so I’d expect a handy warranty and for 3.8. I’ll push for 3.7. Not many of the 2lt on the market

The "Trade" part of the garage name doesn't inspire me with much confidence regarding warranty. Either way I wouldn't be putting much faith in what it covers on an 11 year old car.

    Unlikely from that seller.

Looks like a trade in they’re flogging on the side as it was regarded as “too good” to flog to the trade but not good enough to forecourt.
Treat as a private sale. And as such should be priced as such. Plenty of those were sold so not rare, just so make sure it’s the 2.0l not the 1.6 which could be problematic.
Also check out peers like the Passat and Avensis. Peugeot 508 is a good car you but is probably a touch dearer

It’s not from a dealer. It’s a trade sale. Sold as seen I’d reckon

It’s a dealer that sells to the public for retail prices but skirts the whole obligation to honour a buyers consumer rights by calling everything a ‘trade sale’

Check out lots of different cars. At that price point it’s condition and history of the car that matters most
